| Liability
Customer
agrees to perform an inspection of the vehicle at loading and
unloading. Any damage must be noted on the condition report.
Neither transporter nor National Car Shipping will be liable
for any damage not noted on the condition report. By signing
the condition report Customer agrees to the described condition
of the vehicle. The Transporter will pay any repairs for noted
damage at cost.
All
damage claims will be the responsibility of transporter. Customer
agrees to hold National Car Shipping harmless in any claims.
National
Car Shipping is not liable for any expenses incurred due to transport
delays.
Neither
transporter nor National Car Shipping will be liable for damage
caused by other vehicles leaking fluids, weather, or acts of
God.
Neither
transporter nor National Car Shipping will be responsible to
damage caused to convertible tops by wind or other weather factors.
Neither
transporter nor National Car Shipping will be liable for any
damage caused to exhaust systems.
International
shipments
For
international shipments, customer will be responsible for all
duties, taxes and import fees. Those charges are not included
in the rate quoted.
For
all international shipments via a maritime vessel, insurance
is not included and can be purchased from the maritime company.
Insurance on international shipments is priced at 3% of declared
value of the vehicle(s). This insurance is very limited and generally
only applies to total loss and not damage caused during transport.
For Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Island shipments insurance
is limited to $500 of coverage and is provided by the maritime
company. National Car Shipping does not warrant additional coverage
and will not be held liable for any damages. Additional maritime
insurance is available through the maritime company and once
you select and agree to pay for a specified level of insurance
National Car Shipping will not be able to amend your coverage.
